Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. - Mark 11:24
Your prayer must reflect your faith. Faith and prayer must be combined in your life so that you can expect miracles from God. When you pray your soul must fully believe in God. And also have faith that God is eager to grand your request through your prayers. On occasion you pray with faith but when you pressed with crises you begin to backslide in your faith. On such occasions you seek the assistance of your fellow beings and your own efforts. You may achieve temporary relief. Again and again you fall as a pry to similar circumstances or worse crises. Beloved you have to surrender all your burdens and worries to God and pray. That is what means praying in faith. Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.(Ps 55:22). Leave your problems in the hands of the Lord and in faith believe that God will take care of all your problems. But you do surrender your problems to God but again you regurgitate your problems and worry about it, thinking that God has not yet given you the solution. Beloved when you surrender your troubles to God be at peace and patient with faith that God will take care of it. Yes The LORD will perfect that which concerneth you. The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.(Ps 138:8). And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.(Lk 17:6). Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.(Heb 11:1). Today God wants to increase your faith. We call Abram the father of faith. Look at his faith. God promised him a child at his ripe age. But there is no possibility to have child at that age. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: (Rom 4:18-19). Abraham’s wife Sarah is also an old woman. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.(Heb 11:11-12). And it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. According to the nature of woman and according to the medical science all things were against for conceiving a child. Abraham looks at the circumstances but only had faith in God’s word. You also please do not consider your present situation but have faith in God’s word. Then your faith will increase and when you have faith in God’s word, there is nothing that cannot be done for you. And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.(Mat 17:20)
