The goodness of your house

And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee. – Deuteronomy 28:11

God is blessing His children’s with bountiful of blessings. Nobody can deny this. God today reiterates his promise of goodness. Goodness means there is nothing lacking in it. Yes those who search the Lord will want nothing. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.(Ps 34:10). Jesus was present in the weeding feast of Cana. There was shortage of wine in the weeding feast. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.(Jn 2:3). Jesus gave instructions to fill the empty jars with water. They obey and filled the jars with water. Then Jesus ask them to serve the same. They served. Then the water was turned in to tasty wine. And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.(Jn 2:7-8). You find many shortages in your life. Mostly economical demands are very high. How every much you earn still wants are more and you find shortage of money. Jesus is going to bless you with goodness and remove your short comings. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.(Phil 4:19). When you are under want do not depend on your own strength. When Jesus told the servants to fill the jars with water and nobody dared to question him. Instead implicitly they obeyed. Because of the obedience they were blessed and they witness a miracle. When you obey God unconditionally you will receive the fullness of His blessing. Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!(Ps 31:19). Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.(Ps 103:5). David, every day experienced the blessings of the Lord. Once Shimei cursed king David. Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.(2Sam 16:9). David did not rebuke him. So let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Not only David was confident that God will do good to him. It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.(2Sam 16:12). Are you experiencing reproach in your life? Are you receiving retaliation instead of gratitude? Are you wondering why should it happen like this in my life alone? Why should not be there any change for betterment? Why should I alone suffer with incurable disease? With complete faith in God wait patiently you will see miracles. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.(Rom 8:28). When Jesus live in this world He always perform good deeds. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.(Acts 10:38). People might have polled you down but God is able to raise you from the pit. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: (1Pet 5:6). Are you afflicted due to the faith and the word of God? God saw your affliction and will do good to you. I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.(Ps 27:3).

Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. - Psalms 65:4
