The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.- Deuteronomy 28:8
God is always interested in blessing His Children. Prophet Balaam blessed the people of Israel when he was asked to bring curse on them by Balak. And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness (Numbers 24:1) The very reason for this is God’s love on you. Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee. (Deuteronomy 23:5) Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me (Exodus 20:5) A man’s sins, transgressions and all kinds of evil things come together as a generational curse and gets down to the his generations. Even if you have such kind of generational curse in your life, God by his unconditional love and turned them into a blessing. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree (Galatians 3:13) The curses that been in your lives so far, has been removed by Jesus when he laid down his life on the cross for you. So, generational curses have no control on your life anymore. Therefore strive to live a holy life to keep curses away from your life. Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse (Deuteronomy 11:26) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live (Deuteronomy 30:19) God has placed blessing and curse in front of you. You can choose either of these two and He has given you the choice as well to choose one.
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. – Genesis 12:2-3
