My God shall supply all your needs

And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah. - 1Kings 17:16

During the reign of Ahab as per the prayer of Elijah there were no rains or snow in the land. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.(James 5:17). Even in those days of famine God fed Elijah. God never permitted His children to be dried during the time of famine. To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.(Ps 33:19). During the famine days of Isaac God bless him hundred times. Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: (Gen 26:12-13). During the days of Jacob when there was famine in his land God saved his family through Joseph. For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest. And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance. So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.(Gen 26:12-13). During the days of Elijah God fed Elijah through the widow of Zarephath. When Elijah met that widow they were under the severe grip of poverty. All that they had was only a hand full of flour and a little oil in the pot. Because of the severity of famine the widow and her son plan to eat the last remain of food and die. And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.(1Kings 17:12). But God did miracles through Elijah and protected their life. Till the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth, the barrel of meal did not waste; neither did the cruse of oil fail. God can do the same miracles in your life also. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.(Ps 34:10).

Many occasions you feel famine in your financial conditions. Any amount of your efforts to increase your financial situation or relief from your debts could not be achieved. You decide to lead a life with out borrowings or debts, but it becomes impossible. Today God promises that He will redeem you from this economic famine. During the days of Elisha, he met the widow of the prophets who have two sons. People who have lent to the prophet took his two sons as slaves as repayment for the loan. In this critical situation God did miracle through Elisha in that family. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. Elisha instructed to get empty vessels from the neighbors. Then Elisha told her to go inside the house and poured the little oil in all the empty vessels and when they are full keep them aside. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest. Beloved, in this incident Elisha told that widow to pour in all the empty vessels oil the widow instantly obeyed. She never question or doubted Elisha. What is your prayer today? What are your needs that you expecting from God to interfere and grant the needs? God promise today that He will meet your needs and fill your emptiness. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.(Phil 4:19).

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. - Psalms 23:5
