Our Lord is good. Your must always confess it. And when all the children of Israel saw how thefire came down, and the glory of the LORD descended upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, “For he is good; for his mercy endureth for eve”,(2Chro 7:3). These days Satan blinds the eyes of believers that they may not be able to taste the goodness of the Lord. His desire isthat you should say the Lord is bad. So in your testing times and situations, when you are not receiving any help from anywhere and when you are not able to see the miracles you expected, he tries destroying your mind. He asserts that God will not help you. He brings the situation of trial to your mind and says The Lord! your God did not help you and God is not having love upon you. He says even an ordinary man who knows your situation will help you but God failed to send any help. He speaks thus and throws vain thoughts in you. But all the statements of Satan are never true. Are you aware that Satan is the greatest Liar? Surely God loves you so much. You would never be able to measure His love on you. He knows your affliction and he knows your hard situations. He knows you are unable to bare them. In this situation what God expects of you ? Do you believe that in your hour of trial and distress God is able to deliver you and help you? Or sometimes if you do not receive any help, would you retain the same faith in God? or you will start to murmur? In the bible Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego confess and testify that God whom we serve is able to deliver us from all the troubling situations we face in life, just as The almighty father delivered Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the burning fiery furnace. . If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.(Dan 3:17-18) If we fail to put our trust in God and if so be our case, God never delivers us from our troubling situations, on the other hand if we believe king Satan and fall prey to his evil designs we fall into the fiery burning furnace of Satan THE KING! Yes my believer, God delivers you and me from the fiery furnace and the evil clutches of King Satan, when we tell King Satan that we will never worship him nor serve any other god,nor any craven golden image that King Satan sets up. God expects unflinching faith from his believers. The good Lord will surely deliver and help such believers and help them hold on to their faith and trust in Him.The will lord will deliver them even unto the end. The word of God says taste and see that the Lord is good. Unless you have a relationship with God, you won't know how to taste his goodness. The Bible says, And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.(Rom 8:28) God is good, sometimes the things happening in your life may seem not to be good, Today God is saying everything in your life will work together for good. God is good and he never allows evil in your life. His power is mighty; sometimes if anyone does evil to you, He has the mighty power to change the evil to good for you. In the life of Joseph we see the same thing. The only faith Joseph had is, “God is good, he never do evil in his life”. So when his brother threw Joseph into a pit God cast his mighty power to be good to him. When he was put to prison without any reason God yet again proved his goodness. How isthis possible? In the life of Joseph in all his difficulties he had a good faithful relationship with God. The Bible says God was with Joseph. When Joseph was thrown into the Prison TheLORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison,(Gen 39:21). The relationship with God made Joseph to taste and see Lord isgood. God turns all the evil in the life of Moses to Good. But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.(Gen 50:20)
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? – Matthew 7:11
