The right time

A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time. - Isaiah 60:22

God always does in his children’s life miraculous things perfectly at all times. In your life if you experience some times the delay in getting the fruits of your efforts do not fear. Patiently wait for God to change your short comings in to prosperity. God is going to do things perfectly for you therefore what ever delay and deficiency experience are only for your own good. Today God promises that at the appointed time I shall speedily do good things for you. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.(Hab 2:3). During the reign of Saul there was a battle between Israelites and Philistines. Then the Israelites were hard pressed. When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.(1Sam 13:6). Then Israelites, before going for the fight, waiting to for Prophet Samuel to offer burnt offering and peace offerings. But the Philistines were approaching the cities of Israel. When Saul saw that it was getting late for Samuel to arrive, he himself conducted the burnt offering and peace offerings. And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him. And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering. And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.(1Sam 13:8-10). Because the arrival of Prophet Samuel was delay the Israelites scattered and Saul, in fear of losing his people made the offerings. Beloved, even today when you are pressed in all directions you are afraid of the situation and make decisions that come to your mind. Therefore there is no blessing of the Lord in your decisions. It might appear in your sight that the prosperity is delayed in your life. But God will bless you with prosperity at the appointed time. But you must be patience till God showers His blessings upon you. Sometimes God permits delays and failures in your efforts in order to test your faith and love towards Him. Here Saul, instead of waiting for the prophet, offered the offerings by himself. And when he finished the offering we see the prophet Samuel arriving there. Saul waited for seven days. Had he waited patiently for a few more hours he would not have lost his kingdom. And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.(1Sam 13:13-14). Perhaps there me be delays and obstacles in your business deals, weeding matters related to your children, or your household affairs are getting delayed without any solution on hand. Don’t be afraid. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.(Phil 4:6). What ever you expect God to do in your life assume in faith that God has already done it and thank Him for the same. When you do like this God will speedily accept your prayer and thanks and prosper your life. Do this today it self. That’s what David did in his life. David said God has done every thing for me. I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.(Ps 57:2). When David went to fight with Goliath, he went with this same kind of conform faith on God and won the fight. And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.(1Sam 17:34-36).

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: - 1Peter 5:6
